Two emails per week minimum sent out, year-round, to your leads and patients past and present.
These emails are custom addressed to each patient’s first name and are a hybrid article/letter from the doc. Written in letter form they are worded according to how I lecture and screen, getting people enlightened on the body’s structure, function and purpose, making them ore aware of issues they have that they didn’t prior realize, and getting them interested in finding out more, getting looked over, receiving the doctor’s findings and eager to hear his/her recommendations.
It is a warm-up to the ROF and guided toward prompting new patient visits, re-exams and referrals. Email marketing is not geared toward sign-ups directly but to flank and strengthen all marketing campaigns.
The object is to grow your list so more mailings go out this week than last, always expanding. The more that flows out, the more business comes in. That’s the rule of all email marketing: Volume.
Being a lecturer and screener for almost 3 decades, I have mastered how to speak to people to get them sitting for an ROF (or referring others to sit for one) which is the only help doctors need.
Getting people to:
(1) show up for a Day 1 (or re-exam),
(2) fully understand what a Day 1 and ROF are and,
(3) be very interested in receiving the ROF and doctor’s recommendations.

Mailings are sent to the database twice per week but often have additional ones around holidays. Toward the end of the year, I tend to do “Holiday Blitz’s” where I will sometimes double the promotion going out to push end-of-year benefits use (FSA/HSA expiration, deductible renewal coming, etc).
